Gadget Punk Update - Boss Enemies

Using my hatred for insects as inspiration, I decided to make them the enemies in the game but as robots. I designed each boss after a specific bug (except the snail).

I decided to use a different technique; Blue Pencil, Prismacolor Markers, Prismacolor Watercolor Pencils.

Introducing the Sketch Dump Series

Seeing as how I've gotten in a groove of posting more often lately, even if its some sketches or scribbles, I've decided to stick with the flow. I happen to sketch a lot without ever posting them, they usually just sit inside my sketchbook or notepad and never see the light of day. So starting now whenever I do some sketches or scribbles, I'll gather up maybe a week's worth and do a weekly Sketch Dump... if that sounds gross it's all on you buddy.

Sometimes I do good sketches and sometimes I do bad sketches, sometimes I like them and sometimes I hate them, sometimes I fill up the pages and sometimes I don't, but I won't discriminate, they're all worth the post.

Gadget Punk Character Concept

Gadget Punk is the scrappy little robot who is the star of his own rogue-like sidescrolling adventure game!

Design inspiration came from small scraps and tools you can find around a mechanic's shop or in a toolbox.
